❌ Failing a Delivery with Manual Scan Notes

If you’re unable to complete a delivery and label scanning is required (or partially required), follow these steps to debrief the drop correctly:


🛑 1. Open the Drop

  • Tap the drop you're working on
  • When prompted, confirm you’re at the delivery location by tapping Yes

📋 2. Review Order Details

  • Use the tabs at the top to check:
    • Recipient details
    • Service type
    • Product list

📝 3. Scan the Products or Enter Manual Notes

If label scanning is:

  • Enabled – scan the product(s) if possible
  • Not possible (e.g. damaged/dirty labels)
    • Press and hold on each product
    • A note box will appear for you to manually describe the item
    • Enter a brief note confirming visual verification

You can scan some and manually note others if needed.


📤 4. Debrief the Order

  • Tap Finish (top-right)
  • When asked Was this order delivered successfully?, tap No

📂 5. Select a Reason for Failure

  • Choose the most appropriate reason from the list:
    • Refused
    • Missing
    • Damaged
    • Not Home
    • Other...
  • Add any relevant notes explaining what happened
  • Attach photos as evidence if required (e.g. damaged item, no safe place, etc.)

✅ 6. Submit

  • Tap Complete Delivery
  • Once posted successfully, you’ll return to the main screen

🔎 Delivery Status Colours & Icons

Left Side – Data Status:

  • 🟥 Red – Failed to upload
  • 🟧 Amber – Saved offline, refresh when online
  • 🟩 Green – Uploaded successfully

Right Side – Drop Icons:

  • 🔵 Blue icon – You’re currently on this drop
  • Green tick – Delivered successfully
  • Red cross – Delivery failed
