π Completing an Order with Manual Scanning
If your label canβt be scanned (e.g. damaged or dirty), you can manually confirm the product using a scan note.
π Step-by-Step: Manual Label Scan
- Tap the Active Drop
- Select the delivery you're working on
- A pop-up will ask if you're at the delivery address β tap Yes to update tracking
- Review Order Details
- Tap through the tabs at the top to view:
- Recipient details
- Service level
- Products
- Tap through the tabs at the top to view:
- Scan the Products Manually
- If scanning is disabled, skip this step
- If scanning is enabled but the label is unreadable:
- Press and hold on the product
- A text box will appear β enter a scan note (e.g. "Label unreadable, matched manually")
- Repeat for each product if more than one
You can still scan any undamaged items and use notes only for those that canβt be scanned
- Finish the Order
- Tap Finish (top-right corner)
- Confirm if the delivery was successful:
- Tap Yes if delivered
- Tap No if it failed (see in-app guidance for failed delivery options)
- Collect Signature & Delivery Info
- If required, show the customer any custom terms & conditions
- Tap the signature box to open the screen
- Ask the recipient to sign, then enter:
- Their name
- Any delivery notes
- Add photos if needed
- Tap Complete Delivery to finish
Once the upload is successful, youβll return to the main screen
π Status Icons Explained
Left Side β Data Status
- π₯ Red β Failed to upload
- π§ Amber β Data saved offline, tap refresh when connected
- π© Green β Successfully uploaded
Right Side β Drop Status
- π΅ Blue icon β You're currently active on this drop
- β Green tick β Order delivered successfully
- β Red cross β Delivery not successful
