📱 Why Am I Sending Multiple SMS Messages to One Recipient?
This usually happens because the same mobile number has been entered into multiple contact fields on the order.
🔍 How It Works:
The system checks each of the following contact fields:
- Mobile
- Home
- Work
If it detects a valid mobile number in any of these, it sends an SMS to each unique entry.
If the same number appears more than once, the system treats each instance as a separate recipient and sends duplicate messages.
✅ How to Fix It:
- Only enter the mobile number once, in the Mobile field.
- If the recipient has a landline, enter that in the Home or Work field instead.
- Avoid copy-pasting the mobile number into multiple boxes.
By keeping the mobile number in just one field, you'll ensure the recipient receives only one SMS notification.
