SORSS - Full Stock Control

How do I use Full Stock Control on the system?

To use 'Full Stock Control' on your orders so that it takes stock automatically from the system levels and adjusts them you would need to make sure you add every stock product for that customer and the correct product code to the warehouse section for this to work, the product code would need to be the exact code that is seen on any file imports or manual order creation so the system can match them up to add them and remove them when needed.

Each product added to the system would need the parts added and any dimensions or weights also but the parts are the most important part. There is a blank document you can fill in and upload products to bulk add them to the system in the warehouse section called 'Import Stock Receipt'.

When an order is created and 'Obtain Product(s) Method' is set to use 'Full Stock Control' it will remove stock from the warehouse and allocate it to the order displaying a green box icon on the order overview, removing and updating the quantity where applicable (as long as the codes match and parts/quantity are set), if there is not enough stock it will alert you of this on the order also with a brown box icon when an order is returned or failed it would also add stock back in as long as this is ticked when debriefing the failure.
