VoIP Phones - Feature access codes (star codes)

☎️ VoIP System Feature Codes Guide

While most settings are managed via the web portal or Chrome extension, there are some handy features you can control directly from your desk phone using the codes below.

📬 Voicemail

  • *95 – Access your own voicemail
  • *95xxx – Access a specific mailbox (replace xxx with the 3-digit mailbox number)
  • 0 – Access any mailbox (will prompt for number and password)

🔄 Call Transfers

  • ** – Blind Transfer
    Transfers the call immediately to another extension (no confirmation with the recipient)
  • ## – Attended Transfer
    Lets you speak to the recipient first. If they decline the call or you reach voicemail, dial *0 to return to the original caller

📞 Call Queues

  • *96 – Log into a queue (start receiving calls)
  • *98 – Log out of a queue (stop receiving calls)
  • *97 – Toggle in/out of queue

🔊 Call Pickup

  • *21 – Pick up any ringing extension
  • **xxx – Pick up a specific extension (3-digit short number)
  • **xxxxxx – Pick up a specific extension (6-digit username)

🧳 Hot Desking

  • *78xxx – Register your temporary location (use from a different extension, xxx = your own extension number)
  • *79xxx – Deactivate (use from any extension)
  • *79 – Deactivate if you're back at your own desk

This lets your calls follow you wherever you go, without needing to set up forwarding

⚡ Speed Dial

  • *0<speed dial code> – Dial a saved contact from the shared phonebook
    (Configured via the portal)

🔁 Other Functions

  • *74<key> – Toggle a call forwarding rule
  • *1 – Start/stop recording during a call
    (Must be enabled first in your portal settings)
